    no sound from speakers

now before you say it... I have read all of the FAQs multiple times and checked over my wiring at least 5 times.

now my carpc works just fine, I have it hooked up into my vehicle and I can hear the sound output when using headphones. but when I plug in the stereo to rca adapter plug for the amp no sound comes out of the speakers. The amp IS turned on, I am sure of this. There is a short period of static coming from the speakers when the amp is first turned on and the power LED is lit up. I cannot figure out what is not working correctly unless the amp itself has not been working from the start.

Anybody have an idea of why I am not getting any sound from my speakers?

Well if you checked your wiring 5 times...check the amp at least once.

m10000 onboard sound, it has to be something with the amp, not the computer because I can hear the music just fine with headphones but nothing once i plug in the amp.

get different sound card. You mobo SC wont give good sound. Get an external SC. It would be much better!

    was your amp working before?
maybe in a previous car stereo setup?

maybe you have to set the gain? the voltage signal from the computer isn't very high

well I just bought the amp so I have not tested it before but I will try to do that in the next day or two.
I adjusted the gain and nothing could be heard from the speakers.

I am sure the plugs are phono
