Pioneer Ibus

I bought a ibus to rca connector and tried hooking it up to my laptop, but it doesnt seem to work. I have an older pioneer deck that I tried it on to no avail again. Shouldnt this work, is there something else I have to do?

For future reference of thoes who may want the solution to this problem, you have to adjust your setting on the deck to accept the aux input.
To do this while the radio has power sent to it, shut it off by holding the SRC (source) button. Then hold down the FNC (function) button, or audio button if no fnc button is available. that will bring you to the settings menu. From this point you will be at the point where you can adjust your clock. keep pushing the fnc/audio button untill it reads "AUX:Off" You can adjust this setting with the right/left track buttons. You can push the SRC button to exit out and you're set.
