    crossover question

ok simple question will a 22uF 16V Non-Polar cap work the same as a 22uF 50V Non-Polar cap in the capacity of a crossover

and yes i am sure to some of you this sounds like a stupid question

It should, the voltage threshold of a cap shouldnt make any difference. Its obvious that if you are running voltages above 16v that you should use the 50v capable cap.
C=1/(2pf Rvc ) is the formula to find the capacitance to use for a certain cutoff freq of a circuit and nowhere does it require the voltage treshold of the cap.
    It should be fine
