engine wine noise with rpm's of motor bad alternator?

Hi all,
thanks for looking.

I have a question about alternator-engine wine before it would only start after the amps were on.now I get the wine all the time with computer off,inverter off,amps off,head unit off even removed the head unit from the car but it still has the wine.

Is this normal when you have the engine wine that it can be there with everything off.because before it was only there when the amps were on,computer,head unit etc...
or is this a indication
that the alternator is going bad?

it sounds like either a ground-loop problem (try finding a better ground for your system amps) or it could also be introduced by running your signal cables too close to power cables. make sure to use a terminal on the end of the ground cable, that the cable itself isn't longer than 18", and that you have sanded through any clear coat/paint so that bare metal is exposed. you NEED bare metal for a good ground.

how can it be that if everything is off?

you're saying that everything is off...are you 100% sure? have you disconnected the amp from power? or have you removed the speaker wire form the amp? or have you removed the fuse from the amp?
