anyone? anyone?
Where is that dude with the VW that has fiber optic cables when you need him? Yeah the one who does all the sound competitions...Dude if you read this holla back...
I was wondering if the fiber optic plug for my soundcard and the optic plug on my headunit were the same type. The sound card I have is a external USB creative 24 bit and the head-unit is a clarion VRX 925...The fiber optic plugin is located on the dolby digital processor rather than on the brain of the head unit.
They both look the same as in terms of size and shape but dont I know if this a standard or common plug...also if this is a common plug where can i get this cable...any advice is much appreciated...

if there both optical then they should be compatiable... you need a toslink cable, which is a fiber optic cable with the plugs on each end... there common enough that you should be able to get them anywhere from circiut city to walmart.... home stuff uses it to...
