    Amp Probelm (Constant Bass)

    Hey

I dont know how to explain this but I am haveing a weird probelm and I think its the amp. The amp is bridged and is only being used by a 15 inch sub. Anyways, for somereason when i plug in the cables to the input and as soon as I start turning up the gain from 0. It just gets this constant rumbling bass..... even if theres no song on. Its just a constant bass. What am I doing wrong here?

I have the same problem with my subs, but I haven't done anything to correct it yet. I think my problem is that I'm getting interferance from the power wire, I think I need to reroute my rca.

If you subs hits soon as you plug your rca in, then i got you fix.. Rca in the headunit is not grounded.. It came unsoldier. You make sure this is your problem hook up rca up to the amp and ground one side of the rca. It will go away.

What setting should i keep the subs under, hp or lp? Also, if the rca in the headunit isnt makeing contact with the negative anymore, should i take it apart and fix it or send it to pioneer?
