Thread: 1/8" Audio Out to Speaker Wire?

    If you get the connector here at Radio shack the package will elaborate on the 3 pins

    I might be missing something but should tie Front & Rear Right + to Computer Right+ and Front & Rear Left + to Computer Left+?

    From the way I read your diagram it looks like you are connecting Front Left & Right+ to Computer Right+ and Rear Left & Right+ to Computer Left+, which would have the left & right chanels assigned to front & rear.

    No problem It took me ages to try to work out how to explain it... almost as long as it took me to do it on my Probe...

    I'll try to post a diagram if you like. BTW what do the inputs look like on the amp? One other possibillity to avoid cutting the car wiring loom would be to use an ISO wiring adaptor (used to allow fitting aftermarket radio) and splice the jack plug cable to that.

    Here is the socket "A" which contains the amps inputs. The 8 input wires just go directly into the back of the original headunit on the other end.
