you should try the manual from pioneer.com but generally you need to turn the radio off. press the function button until the menu comes up. scroll through it until you get the aux option and turn it on. than it should be in the source menu.
Hi, My name is Adil and this is my first post. I recently brought an i-pod and i wanted to hook it up into my car stereo cassette player which is pioneer and its model number is keh-1450. I connected the i-pod to the stereo through the aux input at the back i cant seem to find the menu to activate the aux. While playing fm radio, i can hear the i-pod faintly but it is drowned by the sounds of the radio . I have tried pushing all the buttons in all combinations but still in vain. Please help me with this problem.
By the way, you guys have got a great site going on here. Keep up the good work![]()

The port that you hooked up your ipod up to is not an AUX input, those RCA jacks are preouts. You'll end up burning out your internal amp of the HU or the preouts. You most likely need an adapter to accept AUX input, and that radio is only available outside the US, i.e. europe, so I couldnt look up any specs that were in english. Check your manual and make sure that those RCA jacks are AUX inputs and make sure you are using the correct on if they do have it.Originally Posted by adilabdulla
