How do i run HU-less with Bose?

I was wondering how i would connect my carputer up to my bose system without going through the headunit.

I read one post on here about just going from my carputer to a preamp and then from there to my amps powering the speakers. Is this correct?

if you want to keep the bose amps & everything else intact then source a bose headunit adaptor..... pac, scoche & I thinka few others make them to replace a bose head with an aftermarket.... you would just interface the pc to that...

Ok but the idea is to just eliminate a headunit alltogether so it doesnt just take up room.

basically my question is could i just run my carputer to an equalizer such as this one:

    http://www.autotoys.com/x/catalog/PY...EX_p_2699.html

and then from there run the outputs to my speakers and sub.

what I'm talking about does eliminate the head unit.... you will still need to interface to the rest of the system.... that is what the adaptor is for.... as far as a pyramid eq

you need a bose interface, like a soundgate adapter. check out the corvette install in the show off your project area. one of them has the computer interfaced with bose

HUless means Boseless. If you want it to sound half way decent anyways.
