    BMW x5 with stock HU

hey guys, tried searching but havent gotten a straight answer.
    i just recently purchased a 2002 BMW x5
i want to install a carputer but was wondering if the stock HU has
an AUX input? i dont have a cd changer. only a single disk in dash.
i check the aux input adapter at crutchfield? but they said the factory HU should not have DSP. but unffortunatly i do have DSP. so what should i use?
i dont want to use an fm modulator. help please.....

There was a guy who did a great BMW 540 install. Search for that. That should give you some ideas

My adapters are compatible with that car. As of sound you will need to use S/PDIF from you car pc and feed it directly to DSP.

Car2PC adapter. It allows to use stock stereo to control the PC and get sound from it. I never tried to feed digital sound into DSP in BMW, but I suspect that if you have PC with S/PDIF out, you might be able to connect it directly to your DSP.

With a comment like that, I don't suggest you put a computer in your car.
