    CD Changer/Aux in

By searching through the forums here it seems as though this has been covered, but please bare with me.

Ultimately I'm looking for the best FM Modulator recommendations? I have a 02 Eclipse that has (what I think is) a cd changer plugin on the back of my stock HU. Judging by what the higher end models come with (cd changer) I'm just assuming thats what it is & not a aux input.

Is there any cd changer to aux converter someone could recommend for me?

I've seen many links when I searched for stuff but no definate or best solutions. Really I'd like a converter that would change my cd changer to an AUX input without a fm modulator, but I guess I'm having a brain fart with this stuff. Pretty new to the scene, but I'm putting a carputer into my car soon so.......

Any input would be greatly appreciated & I apologize if this is just a redundant post. Thanks!

Yes it's probably redundant but I'm too tired to look for the thread that I know exists... Check out www.logjamelectronics.com if you don't mind paying their prices, otherwise search for ai-net and jbors and you should find what he's making... IIRC his product is just about ready to ship.
Again, this is off the top of my head... maybe someone can correct me if i'm wrong

I looked on there but it does not list things that are compatible with what I have thats why I'm confused. I have a mitsubishi deck & Mitsu is not even listed on there.

Would this one work? http://www.logjamelectronics.com/piepiopaux.html or this? http://www.logjamelectronics.com/piepioprca1.html or even this one? http://www.logjamelectronics.com/piealpairca.html

I have everything else figured out as far as my carputer goes except this small piece.

    I appreciate the response.

**Update** Turns out I have a factory amp under my passenger side car seat. I'll have to rip the whole thing out to see if it's workable. Cross your fingers it is......Or at least I am crossin my fingers.

Well the amp is definately a stock one, lol. Not workable at all.

I still have a dilema, I do have a cd changer port on the back of my deck & would appreciate it if someone would let me know if this guy http://www.logjamelectronics.com/pieknw13rca.html would work.

I don't understand why it would not work? (see attached pic) Says it's for a Kenwood & I have an Infinity Mitsubishi HU with a CD changer port on the back of my receiver. The only thing that is questionable to me is how would you select the sound on my deck? I have a fm & am button & one cd button. Maybe when you push the cd button on my deck it would work? heh.........Also, they are both 13 pin connections....

    Thanks....
