my original posts in this thread were when I had the m audio transit, was a good card, but suffered by not returning from hibernation well.... I have since switched to the turtle beach roadie... awsome piece for the money.... every bit as good as the transit, but also recovers fine from hibernation....

red, I noticed you have the roadie listed as consumer, while the transit is listed as pro.... this isn't correct, the transit should be listed as consumer I think, either way, these are both definatley in the same class & even the same price... having the transit as pro & the roadie as consumer could be a bit missleading....

Why go away from it? Are you talking about those expensive amps with the USB inputs?
I'm looking into options to do away with a processor all together, only to process on the carPC.

and yes, I'm also considering the Dual monitor.

I found something interesting this past weekend.

In order to use the dual monitors functionality, you only need one of them in your system.

As long as you have one of them, you can daisy chain the others and the processing will apply to all channels.

I tried to define the difference between "consumer" and "pro" in the thread. Thanks for your input. I am just trying to collect as much info and keep it organized as possible. I have taken your comments into consideration.

    Red-thanks for the sticky
