Recommend a set of 6.5" components...

Hi guys, I need to buy 6.5" components (mid and tweet only) for my front doors. The set needs to have a 1" tweeter and my budget is roughly $150-$175. Please make any recommendations. I will probably buy off ebay cause it's the cheapest for mobile audio.

Oh, FYI - I'm running a set of 6.5" 2-way Boston Acoustics in the rear and my front set crapped out on me.

I would recommend Elemental Designs edi 6000s. I have them as my rear components, but they sound great. I have the 6500s in the front, but they're almost double what you want to spend. The 6000s are only $125 and handle 100 watts RMS to each side. I have the gains down on the rear channel of an Alpine 545, which pushes 125 watts RMS x 4. The bass response is great even down to low frequencies. I had the system running without a sub for about a week and was very pleased. I think the tweeters are only 3/4" if I remember correctly, but they still scream without sounding harsh.

Btw, if you are going to buy off ebay, I think you're better off ordering from ikesound.com. They're not authorized dealers for the products they sell so they offer their own warranty. Haven't had a chance to test out their warranty, but considering their prices are as cheap if not cheaper than ebay, better to have some warranty rather than none.
