OK dont know how it happened, but my son borrowed the car and when I looked

one of the volume knobs off of my Audigy 2 NX was gone, REALLY gone, I think one of his buds must have flung the thing by mistake attached itself to him or something.
Anyway I emailed Creative Labs:
OK the 2 knobs on the Audigy 2 NX one for
sound(volume) the other is for Mic the clips broke so the knobs are useless. All i have is 2 slots that I use my finger to rotate them.
Is it possible to get the two knobs shipped? They are silver in colour.
I REALLY don't
want to send the whole unit back just to have the knobs replaced.

I understand you are looking for a replacement for the knobs on the soundcard.
I'm sorry but we would not be able to send you replacement parts. You would need to send in the soundcard for replacing the knobs.
If possible, try exchanging the product for another from the vendor for this will be much quicker and easier than having an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) issued. If this is not possible, an RMA will need to be arranged to have your product repaired/replaced.
Since physical damage has been inflicted on the product, an out-of-warranty RMA may need to be issued. This type of RMA requires a
$24.95 diagnostics and handling fee. The fee is applied toward the complete cost of repair/replacement. If the cost of the repair/replacement exceeds the initial diagnostic fee, the RMA facility will contact you via telephone to obtain your authorization for finance of the remaining fee.
