Hı there... How caN i use the sony CDX F5510 's AUX

Can anyone show me a diagram or picture to use that ip bus hack ????
yeaaaaaaa.... plug it in in the aux...?
i have already plugged cables to aux-in but in the menu i cant sellect AUX... i can use tuner and cd but i can not sellect or even see aux
That's because Sony's work differently. You probably need the little Unilink adapter they have for around $99. You can't just 'hack' it the way you can Pioneers. If your Sony headunit doesn't just have 'Aux' when you go through the sources, you can't use AUX without this unit: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-P3SgPgW...earch=sony+aux
There's simply NO other way to do it with Sony. So don't ask if there's a 'quick hack'. You'd be better off finding another P-series Pioneer with IP Bus.
If you want you can do UniLink adapter yourself.

Good luck.

i would better buy a changer and use both cd changer and changers aux![]()
the XA-300 is a great unit and well worth the money for the 2 RCA ins, CD changer in and the USB in. I have used them on many audio/video installs
Causa latet vis est notissima
VIA SP13000
1GB DDR400
Slimline Slot-load DVD-RW
60GB 2.5 Inch SATA 5400RPM
Dual Active PCI riser
PCI TV/FM card
Logisys FP800
Thermaltake VFD Media Lab
M1-ATX
But with a UniLink adapter there is at least the posablity of using HU/steering wheel controls to control the computer.
