1) Quit double-posting.
2) Yes, that makes sense.
Hello guys,
I want to swap the stock radio of my Laguna 2005 (Cabasse Tronic, basic radio/CD no CD changer and no amplifier/tuner in the back) for a Pioneer.
The Cabasse has parallel speaker wiring, the Pioneer the usual ISO wiring with separated speaker polarities. I installed many radios in my cars over the years but all had ISO connectors, this is the first time I found a parallel wiring so I think I should ask before doing something wrong.
Would a connection below make sense?
Stock <------------> Pioneer ISO
RR+ <------------> Back R+
RR- <------------> Back R-
RF+ <------------> Front R+
RF- <------------> Front R-
LF+ <------------> Front L+
LF- <------------> Front L-
LR+ <------------> Back R+
LR- <------------> Back R-
Thanks
1) Got in by accident so cool it off
2) Thanks
Why don't you just get a Renault to ISO connector. that's what I did to all my cars when I changed the stock HU.
1) An accidental double-posting would have the same verbage in both posts. And I'm completely cool.Originally Posted by sbaffi
2) You're very welcome. Also, have you consulted any stereo shops (online or physcial) about a wiring harness for your vehicle? It's likely that you can purchase one for relatively little cost.
