Amp ground line = psu ground line?

Would it be ok to take all of my ground wires (regulator, psu, screens, usb hub) and run them into my 4-way amplifier's ground port...the amp is grounded to the chasis, so they will all share a common ground...?

...is that ok? is it recommended?

...how about the power? (both of my amps run to a capacitor which runs through a fuse to the battery)

if by 4 way port you mean distrobution block, then yes; thats fine. I would make sure your ground wire is a decent size though. You can do the same with all your power wires. circuit city has some good tsunami power distro blocks (a little high priced though.) Just make sure your ground is thick enough to handle whatever power your throwing at it.

I was actually referring to my amp itself...(i have two amps, a 4-channel and a 2-channel...i meant to say "channel" instead of "way")...but distribution blocks are mentioned a lot in power supply discussions...

Should i use a distribution block?

Would it be ok to just stick all of my ground wires into my amp?

Would it be ok to do the same with all of my power wires?

i wouldnt stick em in the amp. i would buy 2 disto blocks, all your power in one, grounds in another. sounds like your going to be drawing a lot of power from the battery so you might want to invest in some 4 gauge or thicker wire for the long stretch to the trunk, then split out to 8 gauge for all the amps/pc/etc. same for the ground. also... circuit city sells batter terminal connections that allow you to re-ground your battery to the chasis (may want to consider if your lights dim during deep bass).
