2000 Jetta single din to double din question

Alright, as it says in the title I have a single din cassette stereo. I bought a double din factory stereo that came out of a 03 Jetta. Question is the connectors are different on the back of the stereo? I thought maybe it was because it was an 03, but I saw another double that came from a 2000 model and it was the same. Is there anyway to convert the connectors to fit at all?
Ive searched through the forum and cant find anything :( I hope someone knows what I'm talking about. Thanks

sometimes metra electronics makes reverse harnesses...for when someone has cut off the harness and you need to get a harness back in the car....now if they make one for your specific car or not is a different story - you'll have to check that one out!
