Angry Static when using power mirrors!

Ok so I just finished the AUX-in MOD for my OEM HU, everything works perfect (no ground loops etc) but today I when for a test driven and I found that there is static in the radio (FM, AM , CD player, new AUX-in) when using the power mirrors! also I just noticed that if I remove the fuse label "mirror" on the fuse block, the radio lose power (even when having a separate fuse label "audio")

I really need help on this one cus I don't know what to do.

Thanks in adavance for any good tip.

    Thanatos.

No intention to annoy or anything. Your post just reminded me of the (very) old joke where the guy says, "Doctor, it hurts when I do this." and the doctor responds "Well, don't do that!".

Apologies for any irritation caused by my post.

Wow, 3 1/2 hours and you think no-one can help you...!

    What I would do is:

    1) Fix the wiring so it's wired to the correct fuse.
    2) Insert a noise supressor/choke to the radio power line.
Old Systems retired due to new car
New system at design/prototype stage on BeagleBoard.

What do you mean to fixing the wiring? if I remove the "audio" fuse there is no power to the radio, same if I remove the "mirror" fuse, or are you talking about get a diferent power surce fo the power mirrors?

Also can you recommend a good noise supressor... thanks.

You need a noise supressor for the power source. between the radio and the fuse block. You might also get away with a simple capacitor on the power line to absorb the noise. I used capacitors on my RC car electric motor, to kill any noise that the engine would give out. Maybe a couple 22pf caps on the motor to the mirrors. cap to + and - then to ground. I'm suprised you getting mirror noise and not engine noise. I always liked the sound of my engine winding up through the stereo

Maybe im rambling, Goto radio shack and buy the $20 noise supressor.

Question for you: have you tried to unplug the carputer from the aux in too see if the noise goes away? maybe you do have a ground loop from pc to stereo.
Um, I guess this is where you put something witty.WITTY

Why do you use the power mirrors? You just set it and forget it
