    Alrite, so I opened it up and here are the pictures...I am kinda disappointed tho, it seems quite different from yours, and the ribbon cable between the main radio board and the CD board is ridiculously flimsy....I am not even sure it the connector is removable. Let me know what can be done ...

    Radio Board

    Radio board

    CD player board on the right, radio board on the left (notice the connecting cable)

    Different angle

    Top of CD board

    Small board connected to the main radio board

    Give me some good newssss dude

    Cheers

    Warning: require_once(./includes/vbimghost_include.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /vbimghost.php on line 57

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required './includes/vbimghost_include.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/mp3car/public_html/vbulletin/vbimghost.php on line 57

    This will be the second time this thread is revived. Sorry about that. I'm just wondering if hellbent ever got this to work for his Altima. I found this forum because I have a 2005 Nissan Altima with the same problem. FM transmitters aren't cutting it for me anymore and I'm not ready to buy an aftermarket head unit for my car.

    2006 altima

    Hello everyone,

    A newbie addition to the forum.

    I have 2006 Altima and I am trying the above mentioned procedure to connect my ipod. I have the radio opened and ready to solder some wire.
    Hellbent1, did you ever get this to work. If yes can you help me out.
    Once all the above procedure is done, does one still require a FM modulator or does it directly connect IPOD to the factory radio. I do not have a CD changer, only factory radio with single CD player.

    Please reply earliest.

    Thank you,
