    Sub Wiring HELP!

Im installing my amp and sub right now but have a problem. I have a Directed Audio 1500D amp which is supposedly a mono amp but it has two positive and two speaker outputs! even on their site it says mono. How the hell do I wire this thing?

Im wiring the woofer for two ohms. But how do i wire it to the amp when it has 2 outputs for the positive and negative ?

if you're going to wire it up by that picture, you will just use one set of terminals on that amp

almost every mono amp out there has two sets of terminals...reaosn being, it makes it easier to shove wire off into the terminal when you have multiple speakers

    make sense?

If the amp is bridgable then it should tell you which two terminals to connect it to. What type of amp is it???
Trying is the first step toward failure

so if i just use one set of terminals (one positive and one negative) I will still be getting all of my power? It rated at 800watts @ 2 ohms My sub is Digital Designs 3510 if that helps

yes - you will be getting all of your power

like I said - they provide the multiple inputs becase trying to shove off multiple wires in a single amp terminal is a PITA!

so then why do you have a picture of a fosgate sub if neither your sub or your amp are fosgate?
