Ok so here is the work in progress. The car has been ripped apart for the past 3 days. Carputer still hasn't been installed, but most all the audio has been. These are the before and after pics so far.

I just put in a better ground, that's all nothing special.

This was my old set up.

This is the new. I got the 2ohm voice coils running in series. I then have the speakers in parallel to the amp. All and all I have a 2 ohm load on the amp. <<<<correct me if i am wrong please :)

It just runs the front and rear speakers. I hope it's enough.

this is the "old" trunk lid. crappy installation of soundmat.

This is the "new" one. I redid the soundmat, with a heat gun this time. Looks much better I think. Plus I shot Great Stuff expanding foam all over the inside. When I tap it all I get is a thunk no vibration.

hehe, i cn't wait to rip my car apart:). How much did the soudporrofing cost ya? Is "Great" foam cheap?

"Great stuff" is nothing more then crack filler. The stuff you spray around the window sill. it's really not for a car application. All I know is it stops the fenders from ringing when you tap on them. All you get is a thunk.
