as for making it clearer..wel, I highly doubt that as well!
By doubling your power output you COULD be adding more distortion into the equation. I'm not to familiar with that amp but it is a very strong possibility.
You're right, I mostly wanted them to just get louder, but they sounded fine at 75 watts.
I'm not really dissapointed that i blew the speaker, because now i have the opportunity to try out a new pair. I've been wanting to hear the OZ's for a while, so now i'll have my chance.

Yup. I ended up ordering a Nine.2X (instead of the Nine.4) only because i got a sweet deal on it ($200 shipped), so i'll be pushing 200 X 2 @ 4 ohms to the OZ's. They are rated at 200 watts peak and 100 rms, so they should be able to handle the power.
