    Question Question on Sony CDX-M8815X

Hey guys, it may sound stupid but i just want to be safe by asking. so i have this Sony CDX-M8815X headunit that i recently bought, its a great headunit very happy with it. anyway this headunit says it is xm sat radio ready. it doesnt say anything about sirius sat ready though and i dont like xm. so what i was wondering is if i got this sir-sny1 would i be able to use sirius on my headunit even though it says its xm ready. the info for this thing says it works on sony headunits 2004 and up so my headunit is from 2005 it should work right? sorry if its a dumb question just dont want to spend all that money if it aint gonna work.

Yes it is compatible. I called Sony and gave the nice lady both of the model numbers and she confirmed that it will work. It took like 60 seconds.
    Good Luck.
