Thread: Why do I have low volume???

I want to post this just as a tip for anyone reading this thread who may have a similar but not the exact same problem.

One thing that can be checked regarding sound problems is to go into "start/programs/accessories/entertainment/volume control" and then click on OPTIONS and PROPERTIES and put a check mark in front of everything listed under "Show the following volume controls". This enables all the volume sliders to appear. Sometimes a slider you can't see is set low and you won't know it until you display it.
