    Loud sound when booting

Just after the windows xp boot screen it seams like my usb sound card is activated and sends a loud bang to all my speakers, I dont think this is very good for my speakers, does anyone know how to fix this? Im running sound blaster live! 5.1 24bit external. 3.5mm jacks for front and rears into a brand new 4 channel amp.

gotta be another way, like configuring the drivers of the sound card to delay or adding a sound filter of some sort to the 3.5mm jacks.

Or maybe connecting your amp ignition wire to the sound card in some way, so the amp will only turn on when the sound card gets power. Could possibly jimmy one of the power cables out from the usb to the amp all it needs is a bid of power to turn on. This will also leave the amp running with sound when you turn the car off but the m2-atx is still timing down. Ill investigate.

I bought a David Navone pop-stopper that allows you to configure a delay of up to two minutes (basically, you'd time your pc and set the delay so your sure the sound card would have enough time to initialize)....add this on the remote lead going to your amps and you're golden.

I have one if you like (taken out of my previous analog install...thanks to the world of digital, i won't be needing it anymore).
