pioneer avh-p6500dvd error

i got this pioneer avh-p6500dvd and it plays dvd ok but cd's mp3 it'll play for a while then it would stop then error message comes on??? any idea to fix the problem..

Sounds almost like a pick-up or processor problem. Either way your kinda screwed because i imagine its out of warrenty, and they cost a fortune to repair.

I too have the same problem.
It plays for 20 mins or so then freezes. Hit play/pause a few times and it will start playing again for 6-10 secs then stop.
MP3 or cd, CDr or original disc.
DVD playback is fine.

Error code is FF-FF but I can find no listing of what this means. Anyone?
