You could alway use the Usb-uirt
to learn the codes of the amp remote allowing you control the functions of the amp through the computer via girder.

Nope, i had purchased the HiFonics amp from Car Domain and it never worked. I think it was about $400. Maxxsonics, the people who make the amps could not fix nor replace. They in turn gave me this as a replacement.

I have not seen it listed on any website but I know they JUST got them. Brand new

Will, any chance you could answer my question regarding the remote bass control?

I can also tell you guys the retail on this AMP is $1200.00, and it is appearantly only sold through authorized car audio dealers, not major retailers like the Hifonics version was. This is straight from the Autotek sales manager. They also have a strict no internet sales policy posted on the site.

Considering this is basically the same hardware as the old Hifonics with a new heat-sink and shroud, I think that price point is outragous, but I bet we see them cheap in a few months when the are not moving.

Sorry, thought i did. No bass knob. Only thing we have is the ability to modify bass output using the remote in the on screen Dolby set up

Bummer. Sounds like all they did was literally repackage the Hifonics. I can't believe that they want $1200 for it with an Autotek badge .

    Thanks,

I pickep up an Autotek amp ~6 months ago. The SX-777, that I even posted here when I got it. Wonder if more like mine rather than the Hifonics. Mine is analog only for inputs. 75 watts x 5 and 200 x 1 (sub) all @ 4 ohms.

    Autotek MM5.1

The amp underwent some redeisgn before being added the Autotek lineup.

Maxxsonics made some tweaks and changes to improve the signal-to-noise ratio; they tweaked the input stage a bit as well. Nothing major, but it is still a pretty amazing amplifier. The owner's manual is kind of weak if you're a novice with 5.1 and multi-channel theater set up... I can't wait to try this amp out.

I've never used Autotek before, but I do know they are great amplifiers.

If you want to download the Zuess owner's manual, it is availabe on Hifonics website under support.
