Doesnt really matter too much where you put the fuses physically. Hell in audio competitions they require you to have one master fuse for everything, with an accumulated amount of fusing for all equipment.
What size ANL Fuse should i use? (2 Purple Blocks)
Should i install the fuse closer to the amps or to the distro blocks?
thx

in competition, they require you to have a main fuse within 18 wire inches of the battery, this fuse should protect the wire its self (so it should be within the rating of the wire it is protecting). Then you should also fuse each individual component at it's rating.
See the following for help in deciding fuse size, wire size, and battery size.
and yes, it DOES matter where you put your fuses.
What organization do you compete in snoopdan and what class?
