please help my amp is trippin'

yes i just brought a used amp today. and i hooked it up and the amp powers up and everything but when i hook the subs up to it there is no output. and i know it is the amp because i have a 1000w profile amp hooked up to my subs (audiobahn) and it works fine and it hits to but when i take this amp an hooked it up the green light comes on but no sound from the subs. and then i hooked my old amp back up everything works fine so somthing is wrong with the amp but, what?

Its either not hooked up right or the amp is blown. What else can we determine with the information you gave us?

it's got to be hooked up right because all i'm doing is taking the ground and power wire from the working amp to the non working amp and it lights up and anything just no sound. and i take the same ground and power wire from the non working amp to the working amp and it works. so i know it is hooked up right. but, can a blown amp sill power up? and what info you need i'm here to share i just want my amp fix.
