Nothing is ever serious in these threads so don't take insult to anything said... unless you're one of the american jerks with their nose stuck up in the air... or you wear socks with sandals and live in a trailor, and steal your neighbours wireless signals.

You mean that's not ok? I've had it wrong for years. I also enjoy "borrowing" my neighbour's cable!

So is this how it would be installed?

Ampie to speaker amp via 2 Y cables - speaker amp to 4 speakers
Ampie to sub amp via a Y cable - sub amp to sub
Ampie to 2 amps via remote lead wires
Ampie and 2 amps to battery via distribution block
Ampie and 2 amps grounded all on same bolt
Ampie to screen via USB extension cable and VGA extension cable
Ampie to GPS receiver via USB extension cable (not pictured)

    Ampie Case
    2.5" Hard Drive 80GB Samsung 5400RPM
    256 MB DDR2 PC5400
    Xenarc 700TSV - VGA Monitor
    Intel D945GCLF Motherboard
    M2-ATX-HV

Essentially, I'll expand a bit to make sure we're on the same track:

By "Y Cable", I assume you mean, 1/8" jack to RCA jack. Something like this will work, but of course there are better solutions (more expensive) like Monster. On a side note, if you are buddy buddy with a friend from RadioShack, they can get you 75% off anything in the Monster Cable store. I used to work there, and thats definately a plus!

The Ampie should have a M1 or M2 and the remote lead is on there. Probably what you mean, just making sure!

That looks pretty good. Have fun installing it!

haha ya! I made the Paint diagram while at work, it was awesome!
The RCA cables I have are 1/8 to go into the computer but instead, they're female RCA on the other side to go into the amp. That would make more sense, wouldn't it?

And I do have a M1 ATX, I pretty much figured out which 2 wires are the remote leads.

So this is right? That's awesome, I just need speaker wire, power wire and a distribution block and I'm set. But if I got the 2 8 gauge wires to the distribution block, how do I get the 18 gauge wire in there for the computer? Do I wire it right to the battery or is there a 8 gauge / 18 gauge distribution block I can buy?
