Only 1 is needed. Whichever the 12v remote on is, is the one most people will use. The other is a ground, if the amp needs it. So split the one connector and feed to amp.Originally Posted by Maheriano
Yes if you are close enough to do that. Mine is in the cabin, and the amp is in the back, so I have a connector similar and then RCAs to amp.Originally Posted by Maheriano

Sorry, I meant male connectors, not females. The 1/8 male goes into the computer and 2 RCA male go into the amp. I'm going to make an amp rack.Originally Posted by 2k1Toaster

I think the M1 has 2 remote leads coming out of it, why not use both?Originally Posted by 2k1Toaster

Pins? It's got 2 wires coming out of the wiring harness for remote lead, doesn't it? I'm getting all kinds of mixed information as to what exactly the 4 wires coming out of the Ampie are for. Someone said 2 are remote lead.

The M1 has two pins next to the caps, towards the center of the PSU. The original instructions (a year or so ago) told you to hook BOTH of these up to the turn on for the amplifier. This was wrong, only one was to be used and it needed to be a specific one.
I'll see if I can't dig up my thread from back then where I ran into this problem.

Wow, this is an entirely new problem. I'm talking about using the wires from the wiring harness to turn on the amps, why are people using a J2 pin?

I'm assuming that the ampie PC has one of those wires connected to the J2 pin for the 12v positive turn on lead. When you have the case open with the M1, take a look to make sure all is good so you don't fry something.Originally Posted by Maheriano
