Good move, I just got that setup and it is phenominal. clean and accurate. I know i've been pimping that processor on this forum since i got it, but can some of you that have it blame me.

Hey I have a question, my motherboard does not have an optical out. What should I do? I found the M-Audio Transit. Does anyone know if it is any good?

you can use a D/A converter

what mobo are you using? does it have the RCA SPDIF output?

another option is if you have a PCMCIA slot on your board to go with the Audigy ZS 2. It has optic outs and has the ablitity to do bit perfect/bit accurate. not so sure on the MA piece.

MA usually has good products from what I have heard.

I'm currently using a USB Optical spdif output which seems to be working well for the time being.

Well I install the BX25 and THIS

My sound is so much better through it. Much more fill seems like it really helped my JL amps push the speakers. It makes sense why though... I really like having a hardware volume control for my system. I have it installed now but just so I can prove that it works good which it has so far. Later I will get some custom knobs and put them in the two holes below my screen.

the transit is ok, but I've had issues recovering from standby... I then tried the turtle beach, forgot the name of it,express something maybe? but it's real tiny & works great, not much more $ than the transit either... now the transit just rolls around in the trunk as spare parts
