    via audio problem

well i finally got my carputer running. its a via m10K i got the 5.1 to work by installing the vinyl drivers. but the thing is when i plug headphones to the front speaker they are really loud. but if i plug them to the rear or center they are not loud at all. so right now in my car the fronts are much louder then the rear. you cant even hear the rears. they are plugged to my factory amp right now. anyone know what to do. thanks

Go into the volume and adjust the volume levels for the different channels.

It sounds like you haven't switched it over to 5.1 sound yet. I had that same thing, where there was very little output because it was supposed to be a lin-in at that point!

So, under sound settings, choose your speaker setup as 5.1 speakers and then try adjusting the volume of the rears, and it should work. In the via manual, it is near the very end ("setting up 5 channel audio" or something like that).

I believe your media player has to be able to decode 5.1 if it's a 5.1 source
