    elemental designs subs

    Hey everybody,
So right now I have an infinity 7541a 4 channel amp running my 4 stock speakers. I'm thinking about disconnecting the rear speakers and adding a single 10" sub just to fill out the low end a bit better. So I'm planning disconnecting the rear speakers, bridging those 2 channels and running the sub off the amp I have now. I've been reading up on subs and wiring but I wanted to double check with you experts that I understand this right...
My amp manual says bridged operation needs a min. speaker impedance of 4 ohms and my amp rating is:
    111w rms x 4 @4 ohms
    139w rms x 4 @2 ohms
    278w rms x 2 @4 ohms
So i'm thinking of getting elemental design's 11kv.2 subwoofer http://edesignaudio.com/product.php?...onials&cur=USD and it comes in dual 2 ohm and dual 4 ohm varieties.
So if I understand this correctly if I just want to run one of these subwoofers I should get the dual 2 ohm and wire it like this http://www.edesignaudio.com/site/wiring/1dvcseries.jpg ?
Also anybody know the difference between elemental designs 11kv.2 and 11ov.2?
    Thanks for your help.

provided that amp can handle a single channel bridged, I don't see a problem with it.

Major differences between the Kv.2/Ov.2 series:

The Ov.2's are more efficient(avg 1.1dB increase on same power) they have a higher power handling, more xmax, more motor, slightly flatter freq. response when a drop in replacement is made.

That said...with the power you have available, 11Kv.2 D2 would be perfectly fine for you. And most amps work fine running 2 channels at 4 ohms each and the other 2 bridged to 4 ohms

    Linky doesn't work.
Suggestions on how I should wire the eD e3.6?

I'd like to know where I could buy the eD e3.6 as well.
