It's not horrible, I used to install them all the time. The older version would get random disc read errors though.
When I worked at Circuit City, if you got our extended warranty on it, we'd just swap it out with a new one.
Does anyone know how good this dvd is? http://cgi.ebay.com/2006-AUDIOBAHN-A...QQcmdZViewItem
I know audiobahn makes good speakers, but I am not sure about the dvd player. Can someone please help.

any problems with it skipping or freezing up the dvd. My last in dash would skip like crazy, and I am trying to avoid that.

are you using this as a DVD player for a CarPC or just as a normal DVD player for a typical audio system?

Don't recall any skipping problems. Only a few were installed horizontally (like a headunit) Most of them were installed vertically in the armrest of whatever vehicle we put them in.
Some would have problems after a while, but I saw that with most of the straight DVD decks we put in.
I am using it for a typical audio system, for now. So I have narrowed it down to two options, which do you guys think will be the best option:Originally Posted by Red GTi VR6
