I just got a Brand New A8000T in the mail myself!
That 1100WRMS x 1 @ 2Ω sounds like fun.

Have a K2|02 and a K4|01
They both look identical.

There's some more information as well.
These amps have the ability to be hooked up to a PC and to record real time stats on fan speeds, board temps, power supply goings on, digital serial numbers, digital fault codes, digital lockouts, etc.
I just held them up to the Audisons and it looks like with just a simple plate of black plexi we should be able to easily adapt them to the current amp rack, which is superb. So, this weekend we are planning on trying to get that done as well as the enclosures up in the tire well in the fronts for the mids in the kicks.
Just thought I would share, will try and have a review of their sound and performance and a few screen shots of the software in action ASAP.
Unfortunately, the amps made it into the states before any of their additional accessories did...still waiting on that stuff...

Wow, they look nice. I'm curious, though... in the second picture, there's the terminal for power and ground, but no switched power? Is it always on or do you need the remote (the RJ-11/RJ-45 look-alike plug on the left) to turn it on?
Gen 1: Pentium 3 1GHz - ATX - 2005
Gen 2: Pentium M 1.6GHz - ITX - 2006
Gen 3: Pentium M 2.0GHz - 5.25" SBC - 2007
Gen 4: (coming soon: Core2 Duo - 3.5" SBC - 2009)
...it never ends
strangely enough, it's on the other side....it's the circular hole with the two LEDs above it in the center of the other side of the amp
The RJ11 is for the StegLink, to connect the computer to the amp (converted to USB later on), the RJ45 jack is for the remote connection .

There's no chrome on those amps so they've gotta suck
Those are hotter than your old amps. What's happening to the old ones?
yeah - no chrome...took a big step back this time...lol
they look better, they are also a BRAND new design. I've never been a big fan of the look of the audisons, but when that's the sponsor....that and I don't buy amps on look, purely on performance. And these STEGs are supposed to out perform the Audisons by a great deal.
I'm going to be selling the old ones, interested?![]()

as a self proclaimed amatuer audiophile, i must admit to having never heard of STEG...
that said, if they're a step up from Audison's they've got to be great amps, and they look (because we know looks mean everything) beefy as hell...

thatkidbob - these amps here in the pics are some of the first in the states. The K series are BRAND new. STEG has been around over in Europe for a while now and has a very well established name over there.
I see that you're in McKinney also, you just missed a very successful CarPC meet this last weekend in the Dallas area.
