OK 306 this is what you do...

Save your money and upgrade it one piece at a time when you can afford it. Take time to do your research and find something that's in your budget but delivers good quality.

JBL components, I'm told, are extremely tasty. Your "crappy amp" as Red puts it will run the speakers, but don't expect them to be anywhere near their full potential when you crank it up loud.

But the components and start saving for a JBL amp.

Just one thing... don't get bored of saving and settle for 6x9's. If you do then I will personally hunt you down and shoot you

EDIT: I was using a JVC KDG-501 and a mate has the 401. JVC have some excellent stuff on the market and the head unit you have is very nice indeed. I have a feeling I've installed one of them for a friend, but it may have been a Pioneer that looked similar... Anyways, keep the unit

ok thats the front now shall i buy two sets of jbl componants... one set for front and one set for the rear ???

then go for a 4 channel jbl amp.. wat wattage???

I HATE 6x9`s i think they r tacky and sound absalote ****e!!!!

I'm not sure if it's the answer you were looking for or hoping for, but it's the route I'd adopt in your position.

Components up front and some cheaper co-axial speakers, JBL or what-ever takes your fancy in the rear.

I would see how it works with a JBL 4 channel amp powering the components and the co-axials. Then use the Amp you currently have for the Subs. If it's lacking punch then upgrade that part of the system.

Just don't expect miracles as soon as you get the components!

The one thing i didnt like about it was the fact that on the spec it said two amp outputs... so i run 2 rca`s in but then wen it come.. it had one rca output and one head phone jack output on the back... was guted ..

If I had to guess he still has a cookie that logs him in when he comes to mp3car and since someone posted a link to this thread on digital-car he clicked the link and was logged in. But why doesn't his member info show his last activity as 7/16?

Whatever issues you all have with each other is not my concern, but I did read through this thread and it does seem Red and IC-C30 are going over the top with thier replies creating a negitive atmosphere for a new member who is just trying to get some info (how many "wtf's" is too many when responding to someone for the first time?). Isn't that what Scouse and DP used to get in trouble for? If I had to guess, this new member will go to digi-car and get the answers he needs from the people there who tend to really actually be nice to newbs that don't quite know what they are talking about and how to word thier questions properly.
Not looking for debate or arguments, as I really don't care that much about how you all go about your business, but I did want to post my 2 cents on the matter.
