    sub wiring question

I've been asking a lot of questions on matching subs and amps lately, and I just want to clarify some questions i've had

if i had an amp that outputs 600watts bridged @2 ohms...if i wire 2 4-ohm subs in parallel, to drop their impedance to 2 ohms...would i be able to wire them on the single channel thats bridged? and if so, does that mean each sub gets 600 watts? or is it half to each?

all but the each sub getting 600 watts is correct.

*sigh* I feel like i'm going around in circles with the sub/amp selection, but I appreciate your help with all my questions Red, Thank you, you've cleared up a lot of questions I have had, now I just have to apply what I've learned. Thank you again.

you'll keep going around, just make your decision, and realize that this probably wont be the last time you make a purchase, just realize this and remember what you can for the next time.

so if i have 2x 8-ohm subs (DVC)...i can wire them, to get a 2-ohm load, then get 600/2, so 300watts per sub?

and a side question, are DVC's in the same series of subs usually higher quality (in general, i know there are always excpetions) in like the rockford/pioneer/alpine classes?

they are no different, they are only for different applications.

sorry, yea i know they're different in the posts, the reason is, I was looking at rockford fosgates wiring wizard, and if i get 2x DVC 4-ohm, it only has 1ohm and 4 ohm applications, and I dont think my p6002 would be stable at 1-ohm, and 4 ohm would only give me 150x2, so i'm assuming if i get 2x DVC at 8-ohm, I can get it wired to 2-ohms, and thus getting the bridged 600watts, so 300w per sub...

so I'm assuming my options for DVC subs are either 1x 4-ohm, so i can wire it to 2ohm and get 600watts for a single sub
    or
2x 8-ohm, wire them to get 2ohm, and get 300watts each

and a SVC, i could get 2x 2-ohm sub and get stereo 300watts each (300w x2 @2ohm), or 2x 4-ohm in parallel, and get the bridged for 300watts each again...

i'm posting this here, cuz its easier for me to think it through when i'm typing it out, i'm just trying to verify my research and see if its accurate, because none of my friends or family know anything about car audio, and working at best buy, I know the installers aren't the most knowledgable either.

when bridged, its 600watts @ 2-ohms (rated) on my "birth sheet (actual rating)" its like 699watts, but i'm just gonna stick to 600 for the sake of my mental capacity.
