i've heard of some using PC heatsinks with fans across the amp with that grease at the bottom. no clue if it works. i'd assume it would... they also make fans that fit right over amps, you could try that.
ok i got a feeling this is gonna be a hot summer. i can only run my subs for like 5 or 10 minutes before that smell starts. my subs are in my trunk and i need some ideas about how to keep them cool. it would be much appreciated![]()

heatsinks hummmmm......... how would i hook those up?
usually with thermalpaste and a screw. a fan or 2 should do the trick though. your amp is designed to dissapate heat think of the case as a big heat sink. anyhow. if its overheating, then use a fan to blow the hot air away from the case. good luck.
