OK, so how would it sound if I just put in some 4x10's and held off on subs? I am not off for road thumping music, I just want to make it good enough to please those in the vehicle. (ME) My 4x6's, of course, do not have a whole lot of hit to them, but will the 4x10's throw in a little more kick?

Tommorow morning I will get some measurements of what I have to play with behind the bench seat.

Alright, 9.5" behind the seat. At a foot of rise, there is ~6" clearance still, so as long as I get something to fit the depth and lets the sub sit in at a minor angle. Suggestions for a prebuilt? Or am I gonna have to custom build?

Just found an outfit that makes a box for this application.

Though their site appears to be having some problems, scroll down and to the right and you will find it. Thinking of purchasing this on my next paycheck and grabbing a couple of subs to get it ready. Any good 10" sub and an amp to run them recommendations?

That's a whole bunch of room. Infinity Reference series subs will do you right and you could pick up a V12 or Vpower alpine mono amp.

Found 10" Reference's for $60/each. Good deal? Also, I can't really find the amp you are mentioning. I've got Sub-out on my headunit, so hooking up an amp won't be much a task (powering it will be the most difficut, whoop whoop), but I am not looking to spend a whole lot on the amp. In all honesty, I would REALLY like to get the box ($60) a pair of subs and amp for $300 or less, preferably $250. Like I said, I am not looking necessarily for the biggest baddest system around, I just want something that sounds decent and doesn't break the bank.

How about one of these subs?
    Audiobahn
    Pioneer
    Kenwood

I am having issues looking up amps. Being new to the car audio scene, I really am not sure what exactly to look for to power dual 10" subs.

    Audiobahn, no
    Pioneer, no
    Kenwood, no

You need a mono amp that's 2 ohm stable. I'd say stay with DEI, Orion, MTX, Alpine, Kenwood Excelon, RE, TRU, Eclipse, Diamond, XTANT, Kicker, etc.

Alright, I also need it to be 2-channel, right? (Since I am running 2 subs) I think I am going to stick with those Infinity's anyway, they look like a nice sub for the price.
