focal versus audison? whos better?

The cost of the amplifier, If you opened up the amp, which I know you have the build quality is no where as good as a Audison or a Steg for that matter. Which tells me that Focal is trying to make alot of money off these amps they are selling them for as much as a LRX, now from a build quality stand point I would rather go for Italian made than Korean made (Nor Chinese my apologizes).

As for the Steg amps I know they are good, But Audison VRX good not from the ones I heard. "And In fact, the STEG amps caused the audison power supply to **** its self". BULL ****.

Don't be mad because I know you play favorites toward ORCA!!!

It's true because Orca just got in with Steg and here you are talking them up like they are the new kid on the block, this is the same thing you did when you heard the focal amps where coming out, make up your mind already...

and ow, one more thing: that is ONE (bad) review! Over here in Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany the STEG amps are popular as hell and i couldn't give you ONE bad revieuw about either the QM-, K-, or Masterstroke-series

First of all I never knocked the Steg amps I said they were nice.
Should I re phrase and say they are amazing because I have heard them I think they do nice, good, great whatever.

Question what's your take on Genesis amplifiers...

and just because someone happens to like a new product, they play favorites? couldn't it be she decided to give them a try, since orca is retailing them? I mean, come on, just because someone likes a shop/person and goes back they're playing favorites?

and what IF she gets all her stuff from orca for free (not likely).... jeallous?

I'm mad because you are putting words in my mouth and are basically committing slander. You are twisting my statements and jumping to conclusions for no reason. You've never met me, nor I you. I have my loyalties, and they are to my husband and to my car in this game. That's it. Orca has yet to seriously go out of it's way for me. They have yet to offer to pay for a hotel room at a show, to offer to help on gas to get to shows, to offer to pay an entry fee, to offer FREE EQUIPMENT. I run the product that they distribute simply because I think it's good product. We were going to make the switch to a different set of amps because I was so unhappy with the output of the Audisons anyways. The Focals came up, I was willing to give them a try. Then these STEGs came up. You want to know the REAL reason we went with the STEGs over the Focals? Do you?

We're a part of a team. A team that has EVERY car BUT ours built by Chris Pate. Chris Pate didn't touch our car. Everyone else is moving to the Focal amps. We decided to go with the STEGs to differentiate our car from the rest of the teams and to emphasize that he didn't touch our car and actually had very little to do with the build. In fact, all he did was from the other end of the phone when asking about speaker placement. THAT's why we went with teh STEGs.

I will say it again. Please, do not come on here and twist my words and basically commit slander against me, not to mention liabel. It's very unprofessional of you and truly shows your maturity level, which must be quite low.

So I can't be excited about a new product? I can't talk about the fact that transflective display technology is about to be available on a mass scale? I guess if I were to be excited about that I'd be in with the manufactures of these screens? That's horse ****.

I don't know any **** about amp. But one thing I know for sure is.
Italian make darm good nice car like Ferraris, Lambo vs Kia, Huyndai.
Korean make darn best electronic stuff like Samsung TV, LG TV, Samsung memory vs give me a darn Italian make consumer electronic product.

My point is not everything coming out of italy are the best.

With all the electronic technology going to Korea, I am sure they manufacture better amp (electronic products) than italian one.

yay, korea power

thing about korean electronics, is they work well, and they arent unreasonably overpriced

u can get cellphones in canada for like $400, u can get the same phone here for like $100 (mind you korea has better cellphones than anywhere else in the world, lol, LIVE broadcast tv, you should see the quality and framerate, its unbelievable)

well, Kia and Hyundai dont have to make good cars either

doubt any of you know, but imported cars to korea are taxed heavily, to increase the amount of korean cars that koreans can buy (to help their own economy)

so, they dont have to make a good car, they make a cheap one, and people buy it, lol

basically a Mercedes here (korea) costs close to twice as much as anywhere else because of all the taxes they put on it, so, all you see here are korean cars, Samsung, SSangYong, Kia, Hyundai..

did that ever get carried away.anyhow i emailed the supplier to see if they carry Steg amps,they do.i also checked if they had stock on the Focal amps and they said by end of week will have full stock to ship.so i am going to check prices on Steg K4.01 and K2.02.very sweet looking amps indeed.if they compare to the focals in price i think i will order the 4 channel right away.2 channel at later date.i also just got off phone with distributer in B.C.{i called wile writing this}and he said he will have the focal 4channel and steg 4channel at the store i deal with in mississaugga Ont. in Aug when i go up there for vacation.i can hardly wait.waiting really sucks.aug 11 seems like years away.its a 17 hour drive from here to there.1730 kilometers not sure of conversion to miles, cant remember to much on my mind.
