You mean the eject button? It's impossible to have something on the face light up with no electrical connection.
eject-button indeed. and it's true that, without electricity it would light up, but that's why i'm guessing the contact is made by the little button that's on the radio (green circle). if so, he indeed only has to look for something to hold that little button in place.Originally Posted by Shadow

Or, since he's soldering stuff already, take the thing apart and short the switch electrically.
Thank you everyone for your advice. Python you are right, the button does have to be depressed. I fit a piece of wood in place and it is permanently holding down the button. I will have pics of the extended radio up soon.
