Have a couple questions about my sub pre install

Hi fellas,

I'm going to install this pretty soon...

Pioneer DEH-P6800MP HU w/ipod interface
Kicker 750.1 AMP 750rms/1500peak
Kicker VS12L7 12" SOLO BARIC SUB

I also picked up the Kicker PK4 kit which includes: 4AWG Power Wire, 4AWG Ground Wire, Remote Turn-On Lead Wire, and 100A ANL fuse kit.

All I need now is some speaker wire and an RCA cable.

My question is which RCA cable (type or brand) do you guys recommend and what gauge speaker wire should I use 14 or 16?

Just get STP (Shielded Twisted Pair) or UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) RCAs and you'll be fine on that. Obviously STP recommneded over UTP. You're right about the speaker AWG.

Thanks Shadow, which gauge on the speaker wire? 14 or 16?

Whatever's cheaper.

i'm really happy with the quality of wire that i have gotten from knewkonceptz. check them out, they are a reasonable and much better the mosnter cable

Thanks scott!! I just ordered the Krystal Kable 2 Channel 6M Twisted Pair RCA Cable with some Karma 12AWG Speaker Kable. :)
