NEED HELP! How to connect alpine changer to Pioneer DEH-P8600

Hi people,

Nice site... though only being new to all this high end high tech audio systems, I need some help.

Firstly with a hook up of a cha-s634 changer to a dex-P8600 HU. can anybody advise also what functions will the hook up give throught the changer functions on the HU etc.

There's no way to do that. You cannot hook up an Alpine CD changer directly to a Pioneer radio. Just doesn't work.

You may be able to find a seperate controller that will allow you to control the Changer from a small remote, but there is no way to have the Pioneer deck control that changer.
