question about some components

been doing some research on different 6.5 3 way components, so far the ones i like the best (o ya and are under $400 lol, prefer under $300 per pair of 6.5's. Unfortunately you get what ya pay for, so $400/pair is my limit lol) are the Eclipse SC8365. Unfortunately they are 4 ohm, instead of the 2 ohm i was looking for, but other then that the specs look good. heres a link to them http://www.eclipse-web.com/component/sc8365.html. they would be hooked up to a 4 channel amp (unsure of what amp, since im not sure as to the speakers yet), would have 2 sets (for 4 woofers and 4 mid/tweets. 2 in front doors, and 2 in rear where i currently have 6x9's with the rear tweets in my rear pillars).

eventually i would be getting at least one sub, but most likely 2 in the trunk, and probabally an alpine pxa-h701 with the Alpine RUX-C701 controller (not sure if i can convince my fiancee of it yet though

). This would ultimately be controlled by a carpc source. This is going to be done over a yr or 2, but im starting with the amp and 6.5 components.

suggestions? comments?

have you checked out cdt's? why are you looking for 2 ohm? go with the 4 ohm

no i havnt checked out cdt's, havnt heard of em actually lol..... my problem with 4 ohm is that im having a problem finding an AMP that outputs 100 watts @ 4 ohms per channel.... im still looking though lol

BDVirus - I have a set of Focal K2P 6.5 seperates (2 way) that I'm getting ready to sell. They retail for about $800, but I'm looking to get rid of them for about $400 + shipping. If you're interested, let me know!

btw - any particular reason you're looking at 3-way set-ups?
