Question 06 Honda Civic EX Firewall breakthrough

Where and how do you get through the firewall on a 2006 Honda civic. I see everybody has showed how to do everything else, I have literally stood on my head to find a place to get through the firewall.
    ANY SUGGESTIONS?????

just find a place that you can get to (usually right beside where all the other wires come into the car, under the steering column), find some safe place, and CAREFULLY drill a big enough hole for the wiring you'll be pulling through

and when your done drilling, before ANY wires go through, put in a grommet (plastic/rubber ring that goes in the hole, protecting wires from rubbing/cutting against the metal hole)

    Thanks!

Fair enough, I will see what my car audio guy says.
We have some grommets at my work i can snag up to fix this horrifying issue.
    Thanks again!!!!!!

If your car's an auto there's a nice little prepunched hole in the rubber on the firewall. Pull that plug and drill a hole where the clutch cable's supposed to go.

i also was wondering on my 05 neon, found a place where wires go through (happens to have a nice metal bracket on the routing of cable that would house a fuse holder nicely), but cant find it on the inside of the vehicle (spent a few hrs today opening up the dash to try and find it). it is annoying lol, but one of these days im going to actually do even more then today (was just kinda surface type stuff, but nothing major)

Airbags are no worry. There's usually 3 wires in a yellow sheath that service the airbags.

As long as you are not giving the airbag lines power you should be safe. I knew this one guy that was trying to test for his speaker lines behind his dash and was popping the lines with a battery. he attempted to pop what turned out to be the airbag lines because he didnt know any better, and he set off his passenger airbag in his face. He was a tool so I laughed when i found out
