    ok i decided to ditch the pioneer radio and cd player, and i have decided to get a flip out dvd player/mp3 combo, what do i need to know about these, (i.e. how much draw does it take from the battery and what brands should i stay away from)

    Many of us recommend against those units. They are overpriced. Instead we install PCs into our cars as the website suggests.

    If you MUST have that type of unit, check the classified. There are several people getting rid of them.

    yea i dont know much about pcs for the car someone explain the advantages of the pc over the in-dash dvd player, i really only want to watch dvds ands play cds nothing too technical

    Im at a loss for words here isnt this website dedicated to the unforseen potential of putting a PC in a vehicle? Cip please take the time to look through this site there is a treasure trove of information here, and I dont know about you but Ive been reading for 6 months and I couldnt be anymore exited to start my project.

    honestly i havent look through this site at all! I first came into this forum just to ask about my amp, but u guys kno so much that i figure u can break it down for me and weed out the stuff that isnt important
