    cheers buddy! i'm not brilliant with electronics, so would this be easy to incorperate into my system?

    there's also the option of doubling up on power supplies.

    I know a few people on here have done it successfully.

    buy 2 m2-atx psu and you should be fine. or a dsatx and an m2-atx, or if you have the money: 2 dsatx psu's

    How about this? 115 pounds, around 200 dollars. does this come with molex's etc? it looks a little bare....

    it's only a 220w psu. as said above, you'll need to strap two together. there should be some info on how to do this in the power supply subforum. but you should be good to go...your wallet may hurt some, but your ears will feel better!

    as I mentioned, 2 m2's would be fine also, no? in that case he'll be ready to go for about $180 or worst case scenario $270 if he would have to strap 3 together.... that's a lot cheaper than 2 of the psu's mentioned above

    Actually I am using a smaller one but its for a very specific application. Your right its not a PC PSU but it is a fully isolated 350w dc-dc converter.

    yeah - that needs a VERY high input voltage that you don't see in a car, and an output voltage that is singular in it's voltage.....

    not really sure how that could be used in a carPC application?

    My bad. They have other ones that input 9v-18v I guess they don't go to 350w though. I thought you could get this one with an input of 9v-18v but I stand corrected.
