A Different Kind Of Amp Pop

I've been reading about this and it seems my problem is a little different than everyone elses. Instead of getting the dreaded amp pop when my carpc powers on/amp turns on, I get a different type of pop when my computer goes into hibernation mode and only when it goes into hibernation mode. I have the remote turn on for the amp powered by a 12v line off of my pc and a dynex 5.1 pci sound card. What are some causes of this happening? It only happens when the computer cuts power going into hibernation mode.

This is caused by the soundcard/pc powering down while the amp remains powered for a fracion of a second longer (internal caps?).

You should power your amp down when you cut ignition, so it's really off by the time the pc hibernates (you can still power it on when the pc boots, using a relay cirquit).

    Good luck!

Amps dont like being on without seeing any signal to them. I ever this should happen, you will get a pop!
